Daily averages are finally starting to build the reserves.
Lost an OG Rhode Island Red yesterday. Big hawk flew off as I pulled up the drive, knew right away it got one as they don't like the snow and make bad decisions lol. Blood and guts on the siding, looks like it was a good battle. Down to 15 now.

You know what time it is @giles? It's garage mopping season! Only fresh head I'm getting this weekend, so I might as well get it wet and smear it around a little 
Beautiful day yesterday to get the coop cleaned up. It has been a few months and the extra layers of bedding helped with that extreme cold but it was getting pretty rank in there. Couple hours of drying time and a fresh layer of DE before new shavings.
