Congratulations to you and your buddy Taylor!

I just got in from trying to roost a bird. No luck with that. I'm looking forward to sunrise as my buddy Lathe is coming up to go hunting with me. He hasn't turkey hunted for several years now. He's due. Even not having one pinned down tonight, I like our chances tomorrow. If it doesn't go well and we get tired of walking, we'll go fishing! Hard to beat that for a day to look forward to!

Good luck to everyone lucky enough to get out tomorrow!

Good luck guys! Great morning out there, I have a feeling some birds are gonna be taking a dirt nap this AM.

Joe and I hunted the same area we have killed birds since 2010. Once we setup, I seen a hen roosting above us. A bird hammered maybe 6 times and once on the ground. He snuck in 35 yrds to my right, stood there and then hen pitched to and over him. He followed her. It was like they rehearsed that a thousand times.

Put a public land bird to bed tonight. Did not see any tire marks in the grass in that area and talked to a guy who hunted there all day today and never saw another vehicle. If he doesn't cooperate I scouted a few more birds in different spots last week to check on also. Hopefully the thunder and lightning lays off.

I enjoy the Thunder but the lightning sucks, good luck Tay!

Love when the thunder gets them a all fired up though!

Good luck to those heading out tomorrow. Plans changed. Didn't make it out today. Next two days are out due to my wife's schedule at work. Maybe Thurs or Friday I can get out. Without seeing any birds in the mornings or being able to put any to bed the last couple nights, it is tough to get motivated due to my work schedule right now. I really shouldn't be out hunting at all.
