I made it out for an hour this morning....heard very little shooting on the lake and even less from the fields today...we didn't even see one duck...was still better than sitting at my desk, where I'm at now!!
Thats awesome . Just lemme know when ya'll got room . It shouldn't be a problem at all getting you out bowfishing . I'd be happy to take you regardless of if we duck hunt or not .
You'll still see birds in them, but it's not all that often. And it's a HUGE pain in the ass like Lucas said
The thing I hate the most is when the ground isn't frozen and you feel like your legs are going to detach from the knee down due to the amount of mud on your boots. I have really bad knees to begin with and at age 28 I don't need to be doing anything that's going to put me in a wheelchair at 40.

Had a good first day. We killed 13. Not a lot of birds flying but we were sitting in the right spot. 17 birds in total, 4 made it out. Pictured below are the lookers.
We drank coffee and watched tweetie birds flutter around. Yippee.

Had a ok hunt . Expected to do better but it wasn't right today. Killed6 mallards, 2 real nice green wings , and a goose .
