Took Kai my 5 yo along on his first goose adventure . He's been dove hunting and pigeon shooting before . Didn't get our limits but got enough to make it fun .

He didn't participate as a shooter but he had fun sitting up decoys and playin in the dirt while we waited to hear em coming

Got access to a decent field this morning so we hunted it tonight . Geese started flying about 640 and after a bunch of chaos we had our 15 dead . It was Amiller, a non member and I .

Man you guys are stacking them up! I got some video of our first hunt of the year on a gopro and to be honest, its not pretty. haha We were a little confused on who was calling the shot, and ended up no one called it. Still managed to knock a few down but should of had a lot more. I guess we were a little rusty.

Well, I posted in another thread we average1 band every 90 birds . That stat got messed up tonight . I went 5 for 5 ....with three bands !

Me and 2 buddies got into the teal pretty good yesterday. The geese however never really showed up until after legal. We shot pretty well and the dogs got some good work in. 13 bluewings, 3 greenwings, and 2 geese.

They sure are! Got some going in the crock pot right now. Anyone else ever try waxing ducks? It's pretty damn slick. Dip bird in hot wax, wring it through, dunk in water and let cool...then peel feathers off like you're peeling a banana. It's a hell of a time saver.

We killed our 15 geese yesterday, but when I tried teal hunting in the evening it wasn't very good . Saw a couple but that was it .
Geese today jumped fields on us . Not a shot fired .
