Might even be able to just bring one from work! But yes, it’ll be able to handle that.
Could’ve bought my truck back this morning...just don’t have the space or time right now to deal with it. On to the next one I suppose.

Looked at MI truck last weekend with a blown motor and only 140k on the chassis. Crawled under and could pick rust flakes off the frame that could give stitches if someone threw it. Despite being a 07 loaded f-150 with only 140k for 1,700 OBO I passed. Everything under that truck would be nothing but a headache for years to come.
I've shopped for just a few trucks in my day. For those who haven't searched outside their 2hr radius, the same goes for east coast trucks. I'd imagine Sgt Fury can confirm. Looked at a low mile Rav4 from NM a few weeks ago. No rust but the thing sat outside. Sun had the paint bleached to the point I don't think it could have been buffed out. Needed a repaint at 10 years old. My MS truck is getting close to needing a repaint as well. Hood and roof mainly. I don't know if this is from the sun, Gulf Shores air, or from sitting under a tree all the time in MS and collecting sap I had to work off of it. Point being there are quirks to vehicles no matter where you get them. Big cities like Chicago or NYC seem like every vehicle has dents or minor fender benders. Just got to check them all out. I tend to shy away from MI or east coast trucks due to the rust though.
I’ve been looking South. Wife is pushing me towards a new one and said absolutely no on the Ram trucks.

Yup, we are only a half hour from the Delaware bay or the Atlantic Ocean. Salt air tears up the vehicle over time. Add to that the road salt in the winter. A lot use their vehicles to put boats in the water and most won’t rinse the undercarriage after a trip from the boat ramp.
Unfriend her for me too, I’m to scared to do it myself.

We’ve stuck a lot of money into Dodges over the years. Everyone said the Gen 4 was different...ate a turbo within 6 months and that was the final straw for her. Most issues on trucks before that...I’d say was my fault. I always turned them up and beat on them. All this bad luck started with a dodge.
I wasn’t happy with how this GM product handled that BB at Strouds. This new 6.7 power stroke really has seemed to fixed the issues the 6.0 and 6.4 had. The new Super Duty is damn good looking...the XLT I had for work was uncomfortable as hell though.
We will see how this all works out I guess. Even I don’t have a clue at this point.

Thanks Clay! I could use a road trip so I hope I do find one soon. I’ve been searching from Ohio to Florida to Texas...just hard to bring myself to spend $30,000+ on a truck with 150,000 miles.
I think I’m on my 3rd since then, Rich! First one ate a turbo and pissed me off, second one we still own, 3rd one got wrecked and was a total loss.
