I'll keep my eyes open. Could be an illusion. Minus the wheel there will be some flex/twist on it. Not bent. Just a weird flex. Never seen the bed and cab move independently before?

Well, it’s totaled. On the search for a crew cab, long bed pickup. Gas or diesel...not much looking for anything beyond a great deal. So if it’s a $60,000 truck for $45,000 or a $10,000 truck for $5,000, I’m interested.

Hope you came out to the good with the insurance company.

That sucks! Do yourself a favor and search for the right truck...don’t just get one because you need it. Make sure it has everything you want in a daily driver/towing rig or you’ll be looking for another one in a couple of years. Good luck...hope you find a good one.😊

The right truck isn’t made...and I’ve had terrible luck with trucks the last couple of years. Kinda over it at this point and just want something that'll get the job done.

The last few days I keep finding myself coming back to look at this truck. I looked at it in person and asked questions. It’s. Yupper truck...cleans up nice put it has some damage from the sand roads. Undercarriage needs some deep cleaning to get all the sand out of it as well. Anyone know anything about trucks from up north? I don’t and don’t mind dealing with the cosmetic issues, as this will be a tow rig/working truck, not a show truck. Clean enough is good enough kind of thing.

Lol, I wasn’t picking on anyone, just stating what I know. Your average guy doesn’t own a long bed...and for what they charge for them... I can’t justify having $1,000 a month payment to fit my needs, so I’m in this 100,000-150,000 mile price range. Realistic thoughts tell me to just go buy a new fleet model with a gas motor. It’s about the same money.

If I go new and gas motor, GM will likely be out of the race and it’ll be a Ford/Ram battle. The 6.0 that GM uses is proven, but the others have pulled away in fuel mileage and power.

Pretty good video here and the exact reason I don’t want to tow the camper with Christines truck. I don’t mind running it 15 miles up the road to Paint Creek, but it’ll never see the highway.

Normally trucks from MI are horrible rust buckets underneath.
That’s what I was thinking. They sprayed the outside of the frame and underneath didn’t look horrible but the paint is worn off from the sand blasting. I don’t think I want to mess with it. For $40,000 I think I could spend my money better. Just not much on the market...probably just keep looking for a while.

What did they spray it with, is it sticky/tacky or hard like bed liner. Becoming common to spray bedliner on frames now. Which is usually worse on them. I wouldn't buy it 10k more you can have a brand new one.
