Just crossed 10K miles and I've managed not to not reset trip 1yet. DIC states 15.5 lifetime avg. for the 9936 miles I've owned it. Hand-calculated is 15.1 lifetime. Low to mid 15s is what's to be expected as a baseline.

I can't say that I feel like I fill up more than the diesel but I am. Still a nice gap between the two at the pump since I switched so I am pleased with the price difference of $20/fill up.

Overall I am still pleased with the engine, and nothing has changed on the handling. Still floats every now and again, but overall happy with the ride and it's road manners.

The metal vibration was a bent heat shield and is gone and the blinking turn signals after shutoff is from the rear tire pressures being low. Apparently it's a feature not to many know about, but after some Google searching it's out there. Don't recall if I ever updated that, but it's good to know GM didn't fugg up that bad lol.

The two best things to date that I underappreciated are the vinyl floor and the larger truck bed.

The two missed things to date is interior storage and no integrated brake controller. I have an older Tekonsha I really need to get hooked up.

Good stuff, Adam. She sure is a good looking truck. And I hate to admit it, but you're getting better fuel mileage than my 5.0L F150. Granted, it's leveled and has E-range 33's on the rims, but still... that's somewhat depressing. LOL. The vinyl flooring is definitely an underrated and underappreciated feature for those of us who spend a good bit of time outdoors.

Good deal. I’m surprised that the average isn’t by last 50-400 miles. I know I can change it on the 17’ to read 50, 100, 200, or 400.

I also love the vinyl floors in this truck! 8’ bed will always be a mans truck😂.

Nope, it's the avg. for the trip. Also not a long bed, just bigger box design.

Gonna be looking for a new front bumper for my truck. Looking for chrome one, so it's would match like the in back bumper.
