Gonna keep this truck all stock is what i said...i failed on that department, lol.

Had a death wobble and vibration problem develope over the last 20,000 miles. I sent it to the shop 2 weeks ago for a complete front end rebuild after I had my auto hubs fail. New front axle U-joints, all new steering parts and bushings. Also threw a small lift on it a dual steering stabilizer kit. 166,321 miles on it now and it should last a good while. Hopefully drive like new again when I get it back. Still very happy with the truck. Not real practical for me to be daily driving it for my 88 mile commute...but I enjoy driving it. Probably stop that once these tires wear out and i size up.

It doesn't matter. One of those items I've always wanted. I feel like i have to get one before they are all rusted away. Might never do anything with it. Might build the shit out of it. Might daily drive it. First step is to find one in a price range I can afford that isnt complete junk. Been a struggle on that part.

Buy it. Build it. Enjoy it. I get that. I suspect Wiley is right. Probably been addressed multiple times. Hopefully with better parts. They were good looking rides. I liked the Vortec motors.

I did have a regular cab 4x4 99 Chevy with 454. Not sure why I ever sold that truck. It was the least troublesome of the 2000/2003/2005 GMCs I had. Beast of a truck.
