Does that thing have a PCV valve? If so see if it’s working.

We just added a 4th horse to the stable. This one is nothing ‘fancy’, but is special. It’s a 2008 Accord with only 71k miles on it! Special because it was my dad’s daily driver and my folks gifted it to us for our girls to drive. Dad has taken impeccable care of it. We pulled it back to Iowa from Ohio with our Yukon when we were home for our Christmas visit. I am sure my dad will miss it! The girls love it!!!

They bought it new and he has every single service record for it. I had things I was figuring I was going to do, but almost everything has been done recently (brakes, fluids, etc). I did put new plugs and coil packs in it as he hadn’t done that!! It does seem to idle a bit smoother now. Best kind of used car to get as I know how it has been treated. Very thankful for the pass-down.

Turbo technology is finally catching on. The straight 6 has been historically known for a great reliable power plant. What it lacked was power. Turbo solves that issue. It will be interesting to see where this all goes with these big manufactures dropping the v-8. Something about the sound that is deep with many people.

Daily driver update for us, 2016 Chevy Cruze with 40K miles on it. Super clean and barely seems used.

Still all stock...anyone besides me proud of me? Lol. Washed it a week or two ago for the first time since before strouds. Only issue ive had is the back window. It is held in by a trim piece that is two sided taped on. Popped loose during some wind on our way to Mississippi last summer. I stuffed some napkins in it. Probably need to get some tape and fix it some day. Just not a priority because it lives in the barn.

Didn't realize the fold out step stool in the driver's side was a factory option. Must have been part of the short sale.

I always thought my next truck would be an F250 Superduty. My family bleeds blue… multiple Ford retirees in the tree. I also never thought I’d buy a brand new vehicle. But dang it, the looks and the quality of these new GM HD trucks was just too good to ignore. Thanks again @5Cent for talking me out of it.

6.6L gasser with the 10-speed Allison.

It’s got a spray-in bedliner, cargo LEDs in the bed, lights and cameras all around it. It’s ridiculous. I could change my mind over time, but as of right now I don’t think I’m gonna put a cap on this truck. Next on the list will be custom fit seat covers and a tonneau cover of some kind. I’m open to suggestions.
