Would take a whole lot for me to switch from blackhorn 209 powder

They’re using triple 8 which is from the looks of it, it maybe equal too the buckhorn 209…..

I signed up for the experience of shooting a real, cap or flintlock muzzle loader and all the mess that goes with it. It's part of the "romance."
This contraption is a bastard child. I looked around online and have decided I don't care for it.

(I'll still love ya if you get one though J... lol)

Like I said, it’s not for everyone. Just another option out there for folks getting into muzzloading or wanting too upgrade what they have.

Did they say what the reason was?

Something to the effect of not having enough steps when loading to be considered a muzzleloader. My buddy said they could use them now in Tennessee so all that may have changed.
