I'm a little (emphasis on little) surprised that this story isn't gaining much traction in the big media machine yet. A few years ago, Trevor Bauer (pitcher for the LA Dodgers) was accused of sexual assault by a woman he had been with. Seemingly without all of the facts, Major League Baseball suspended him for nearly 2 full seasons in the prime of his career. The Dodgers paid him for the one full season but got out of the remainder of the contract, which cost Bauer $37.5 million. Now that all court proceedings appear to be over, Bauer could speak publicly as part of the agreement. Pretty damning stuff has come out supporting his claims he was set up and nothing non-consensual ever took place.
If everything he is showing is factual, I'm not sure why he wouldn't have a case to go after MLB for assuming him guilty until proven innocent, costing him a fortune and 2+ years in the prime of his career.
