Honest question because I have not looked lately. I know Ram was having lots of issues with lifters on the 5.7 Hemi. Anyone know if they ever got that fixed on the new ones?

No idea. Doesn't seem like anyone keeps them that long. I know of people who have had the battery problems and carrier bearing problem.

Pay me now, or pay me later….. They’re (the RAMS) cheaper up front makes them appealing….. Especially when people don’t keep them past 100k miles…..

Here is another link. I am currently trying to plan ahead myself and this article hits a point im thinking about. Buying used and paying cash or buying new. That is why I am searching for repair cost. I was surprised to see trucks on these list, so I shared it here.

They don’t think very highly of the RAMS…..

Just sent this to a buddy. He just bought a RAM one ton dually diesel. Said it was close to $10k cheaper than the Fords or Chevys…. Told him there’s a reason for that…..

These are all saying the same thing. One of them links had the Ram at a 54% chance of a major failure in a 10 year lifespan, wtf!
