Ok... Found one closer to my house that's a little different... Gonna go see what the color looks like in person tomorrow, as pics are deceiving... Ok this could be a major factor... The 5.3 Chevy V8 is one of those that disable cylinders when on highway... This I'm told is why they had problems with the 5.3... So what's your thoughts on the Dodge Hurricane 6 cyl... It's got twin turbos and generates I think 450 hp...

You can get something to turn off the active fuel management

My neighbor is on his second hurricane truck. He trades them off as soon as they hit 100,000 miles, but he likes them enough to replace.

Drive a few with different combinations. Wish I drove more before I bought mine. Love the truck. Hate the turn radius.
