Even if she Filed a 3 day eviction for past due rent to get the ball started it'll still take a couple months to get him out.

Filing a restraining order will only prevent her from checking on her property.

File 3 day notice to leave. Tape it to the door. Take a pic of it. Or better yet, hand it to him in person with the cops there form protection. On day 4 or 5 (I always allow an extra day or so to be safe and leave no questions as to whether I have them the full 3 days or not.) Take your copy of the notice to courthouse. File eviction hearing. Sometimes happens in a couple weeks. Sometimes in a month. Once awarded the win (because this guy will likely NOT show up), the deputy will have his stuff moved to the curb if he doesn't do it himself. Takes a little time and effort but not overly difficult. Just a legal process she will have to go thru.

Holy fucking shit !! Wife & I sitting on back porch & started heaing sirens off in the distance. As closer as they got, they stopped. I told her maybe they were coming for that dude, with a chuckle. Low & behold, they did... BIG TIME !! The dude hung himself !! He did not survive. Grand central station here . Everyone is out talking.

After talking to the family which stayed around for a good spell, the dude did himself in earlier today. Family member called the S.O. this evening & asked for a wellness check since he had a history of threats to himself & he hadn't been answering his phone. I mow her yard every week & I'm so thankful I had already done so a few days back.

What a mess. Things should settle down for now. Tough way to get rid of him. Probably a good thing for you and your wife, Kevin. I always figured if they have no regard for their life, they won't have any regards for yours either if a scuttle breaks out. If they're suicidal, then homicidal can't be ruled out. I'm glad you and your wife won't have those worries anymore but it is sad to hear someone got to this point.

I admit, it was becoming the never ending story. At least it kept things interesting. On a final ( gawd I hope so ) note, for someone to have nothing in life at his age ...49 ?, there were quite a few people in his life that cared for him ....but none trusted him. A # of 'em are over there now clearing his shit out.
