Update on my neighbor ....

I admit, it was becoming the never ending story. At least it kept things interesting. On a final ( gawd I hope so ) note, for someone to have nothing in life at his age ...49 ?, there were quite a few people in his life that cared for him ....but none trusted him. A # of 'em are over there now clearing his shit out.

Mental health is something we shove in the corner. Our country is just starting to take note. There are many more dealing with stuff than we would ever imagine. Sounds like he had some demons.

Damn, reminds me of my neighbor in Athens. 50 something, lived alone snd was a big alcoholic. No job…just drank all day. Drove in and a couple sheriffs past me. Came past his house and there was a sheriff and a POV in the drive. A guy out by the road bent over. Drove 100 feet past the house and y stench hit me. He’d been dead for over a week…was in July I think. Drank himself to death.
The guy on the road was the coroner barfing his guts out.
