I'll tell ya, he's turning out to be a real nice looking deer, no doubt, but I decided he needed to go last year, so... He's pretty well figured out by now. Hope you two are gettin fired up cause I sure am! Trying to hold back some of this enthusiasm is becoming a real challenge for me, trust me!That deer ain't gonna make it, denny. Don't get attached

Just put this camera out this afternoon.
A rear appearence at the feed trough overnight, 'LEFTY' with some of the others, including 'Mister Big'. Pretty much all the big bucks showed up overnight for some reason.
Not busy at all last night at my place. Fairly quiet and slow night at the main feed site @home, but looks like things are just starting to happen now.
One from the other farm last evening and one from this mornin there.
DIAMOND' @the main feed site overnight and that was about it for bucks over night at home.
And what's happen now there.

At least the crick has receded and movement is coming back….
A fairly rare event took place a little bit ago, 'LEFTY' in daylight.
I've only seen him in the daytime hours just a handful of times over the past three years, both on trail cameras and a couple field encounters as well, combined. Attached is a TC capture of him almost two (2) years ago to the day showing him with that messed up antler side.
Nothing but non-stop deer activity at the main feed site ever since the pre-dawn hours today. The deer are taking full advantage of this much cooler weather, that's for sure.
