Hit the river for 2 hours with my nephew. He had a leak in his boot so he toughed it out as long as he could. He did manage to get 1 legal eye. I was skunked

Didn't make it today cause of rain this morning and little dude had doctors appointment this afternoon so we're going tomorrow

We went out for a couple hours this morning. I didn't see a single fish caught no suckers no nothing. We are crappie fishing tomorrow morning. Maybe this rain and warmer temps will get the ball rolling. It is still plenty early but seeing fish being caught just makes you think you you can too.
Seen three different DNR trucks from Jerome Rd. To the cemetery so some fish must be coming out of the river.

I did too, sorta laughed cause there were only 4 guys west of the bridge fishing when I was there.

Got my limit this morning in about an hour. Fishing was great the first 90 minutes, then got tougher as the heavy rains moved in. Nice fish though. Probably a 3lb average for the 4 males

45 minutes this morning...... my third best day ever. All 4 caught with the same jig. Red head and pink twister seemed damn good today.

Nice going. I made the mistake of jumping in a spot along side a buddy who was already there. I nailed a 22" on the first cast. But it was a clusterfugg after that. Dudes fingerfuc*ing lines forever and casting on top of everyone. After and hour I said see ya, and headed downstream to my honeyhole. Took 45 minutes to get my next 3. In all, I got 2 at 22", 1-18", and 1-16"

Nice, glad to see ya catching them. I don't have the patience with others (lol guess I'm just a dick) to fish like that. I do like going down to watch for a few hours though
I should have went up yesterday morning. All my buddies pulled limits in the rain. I had a damn kids birthday party to attend. I've shared my disdain for kids Bday parties. Only reason I attended was I was voted to Grill. There were massive amounts of 2" thick sirloins for the party, as if they knew thats what it took for my attendance. Was all set to go this morning, but a rapidly rising river usually doesnt yield too many legal fish. I hope it stabilizes by tomorrow so I can join the clown show down there
