Then what? What do you do if you kill a deer and it's warm out?
I quarter them up when I get home. Layer the bottom of my big cooler with ice, then a large trash bag, and a towel on top of that. I've never had any problems with meat going bad but it always makes me nervous as hell... Thinking about some anti-microbial bags for the meat this year. I had other plans, but the season is here already!
What do you do? I see a bunch of guys posting about not huntin the heat. That's just not always an option for me as I hunt when I can.
