Weekend Cookout

Thought I'd share a few pics of the cookout set-up. Every Fourth of July something gets cooked on the spit. This year was a pig stuffed with onions, apples, and sausage. The smoker was also in action with beer can chicken. Always good eats at the in-laws picnics.

Yes...homemade fresh sausage links, in in-laws are old world slovenians . The sausage was delicious...well it was all delicious.

I was shocked at how good the corn looked. It was at least chest high on me. Cornfield belongs to the neighbor, but the woods on the left in the first pic is family property. About 45 acres in an L shape with riverfrontage in the back.
