We have what appears to be a racing pigeon at our house, he just showed up and is very tame, trying to figure out how to find the owner. He has a band on his leg.

that's pretty cool ,and it gave me a laugh remembering ace Ventura beat the shit out of the mascot for swatting the pigeon from the water cooler...

We had one that stopped by our house for a month at a time, two or three years in a row. My daughter was little and absolutely loved to see the thing come back each year.
