I haven't research much of the AR platform so now may be the time. My BIL says it will probably be available pretty soon for sale. Its brand new. Also, it wouldn't be registered in my name in case the govt comes looking.

If anything a shorter barrel it's stiffer leading to better accuracy. However you also lose your length of sight plane which decreases accuracy. What you definitely lose is velocity which decreases the maximun frangible range. This is probably what they meant because of I recall it is about that much less in an m4 vs m16.

Sure.......... :smiley_confused_vra

My son and I got the opportunity to spend the day together so we decided to head for Cabelas. I had a $100.00 gift card, I got for my birthday, burning a hole in my pocket and I needed to get my AR scoped. I decided on the Vortex Crossfire II in a 4-12x44 and a Burris P. E. P. R.one piece mount. I love the look and the way it comes up and settles in. Can't wait to get to the range.

Nah. Left that to RRA. Ordered custom from them back in 2007 when it only took them 7 weeks. Lol.

A buddy and I are wanting too build a couple for ourselves and being once I own a gun I rarely get rid of it I'm not worried about the resale aspect.... I'll let the kids worry about that after I'm gone lol....
