I like it! Not sure why people think they have to spend big money on seed. I like your angle. Keep us posted, looking good so far. Did you wife off an area to see how much they’re grazing off?

Damn, I knew I was forgetting something. I do have 2 cameras watching the field and haven't had a lot of activity yet. The day after we planted we saw a hen turkey in it so I was worried the seed would have been eaten before it even spouted. After dragging there was still a lot of exposed seed.

I actually starting using my water softener salt on mine. Culligan likes giving me a pallet full every quarter it seems.

Good stuff! But I think that one fella needs a little longer barrel.
I breaked today.
Going through suburban, 35 mph neighborhood and a doe blasts out in front of me. Braked but still felt her one back leg kick my front corner bumper. Just a scuff in the dust. She never looked back.

Didn't do anything specifically, but recently had a chance to visit the property we hunt every fall. Saw three young does and a loner fawn. They were out in bright sun on a 88 degree day.
