What in the hell is it ??

For the last few weeks, every night I hear this high pitch whistling coming from just about everywhere in the woods it seems and it's constant When it first started, I half ass thought it was my neighbor out whistling for his pup, which sounds just like him. I then kept thinking it was some kind of owl, but I don't think so. I just came in from checking the fire pit & these birds or whatever seemed to be everywhere ( not really, but close ). The only way to describe it is as you'd be out walking your dog & you'd whistle to get its attention or so. Never heard this before until a few weeks ago as stated.

YouTube it. That’s how I found out my weird noise... mine was an eastern screech owl. I told everyone it sounded like a horse getting something shoved in a place he didn’t want.

This is going to end up being comical. I've been googling & utubing with no luck. When I went to bed last night, I had the window open so I could lay there & listen to them. The annoying thing is, is that my neighbor's who live back in behind, leave their dogs out all night & the damn things think it's someone whistling as well, so they're barking forever it seems....every fugging night. As I laid there, I could hear what I figured was one of those dogs walking past since they do come over, but with my flashlight, I could see it was a nice size doe below eating our plants, with that whistling still going on, so they're not bothered by it.

I had to google a sound one time. I kept hearing it down in the hollow in the middle of the night behind my house. Ended up being the alarm bark of the fox heard in the video Big Holla shared. Or maybe it was the Vixen call? All kinda sounds the same, but it was for sure a fox.
