What slugs do you use?

Didn't have much luck with the sst on my sons HnR 20ga. single shot. Tried the new federal trophy copper 3" shells and had a 1" group a 100yds on a bench. These slugs are good out to 200 yards, If you would try a shot that far.

I had exactly the same experience with the SST's from the same gun yesterday. I also had some Federal Trophy Coppers that also shot great, the same results you saw.

That should last me for the next ten years or so.

Three inch magnum Brenneke in my .410 single shot. In my opinion the Brenneke is the only .410 slug satisfactory for deer hunting. Range should be no more than forty yards and twenty is better, kinda like bowhunting with a gun.

I failed to mention shotguns are like people. Some are just a little weird and no 2 are the same. It's just a try and retry until you find what works. Almost like 22LR rifles what works for you my 22LR rifle it may not work.

Don't have a rifled slug barrel, I found the Remington Sluggers shoot best out of my 1187.
