sous vide/smoked brisket done medium/medium rare, "southern" (LOL) fried cabbage, high heat roasted herbed potatoes. it weren't none too hateful.

Family favorite venison and noodles tonight. I added sauteed onions and mushrooms to mine. Kenna will be 3 on Wednesday and she ate her deer before anything else. That's a proud dad moment!

I'm borrowing a sous vide cooker from a buddy of mine at work. I'm going to get my feet wet with it this weekend on a venison steak. I'm tired of drooling on my keyboard...
LOL, you might as well get your wallet out now. once you eat a hunk of venison loin cooked to exactly 129° and pan seared to finish, you'll never look at a venison steak the same way again.
poor mans steak and eggs. pan fried eft over brisket is pretty nice next to a couple of eggs over easy.

I love pickled okra. Seeing the seeds floating the next day is a nice change up from corn kernels

I know thats right. I buy that from a coon hunting supplies and carhart store. Old timer in there has boxes of it stacked in the corner. Best okra i have ever had.

Umm haven’t posted in some time. We had boiled crawfish and oysters on the half shell yesterday. Along with some birthday cake for my lovely wife.
Thinking of making fried pickles with these. Really fuggin good. I recommend ya'll to buy one.
