Food over an open fire is always a beautiful site to behold. What makes this memorable is that I had a thunderstorm to the north & another followed from the south. As I was sitting there, a few deer came thru about 20 yards out in front. I didn't have the phone then.
This is me on a plate and certainly last meal worthy for me. Backstrap is from my wife's doe that was butchered on the same table I ate on tonight. Grew the beans last year and those Yukon gold taters are straight deliciousness. Big old salad and some cold beers make fine compliments.
Heck of a spread for supper. Fried red snapper fillets, fried fresh gulf shrimp, grilled almaco jack, grilled shrimp, alfredo noodles for the shrimp, coleslaw, homeade tarter sauce, and key lime pie for dessert......oh my
