Changed up the squirrel casserole a little tonight. Instead of mixed frozen vegetables I did carrots, celery, onion, broccoli, and Chanterelles. Broccoli is fabulous addition.

Well when at the camp, you eat camp food. Doe steaks, wood duck breast and tators and cream style corn for the win. Cook over an open fire.

Wife made a big pot of vegetable soup earlier this week, it didn’t last long. Plus I didn’t snap a picture of said soup, so fast forward, she made a big pot of chili today, here’s hoping it last through Saturday evening

Lb each of venison, wagu beef, mild sausage. Tomato sauce, bush’s chili beans, rotelle as well as a can of diced tomatoes with Italian seasoning. A can of tomato soup, and a package of Carrol Shelby’s chili mix. Add beef broth ins of any water. Also all the contents of the cans (read any liquids) go in as well. As far as seasonings go, good luck pinning that one down. Whatever is in reach that she thinks will work, goes in…..
I top mine with cheddar and sour cream.

This is what my son ate tonight.
2 slices of bread that i toasted in butter covered with crock pot pulled pork i browned in the skillet to get crunchy and seasoned, and then 2 over easy eggs on top
I ate the crispy pork by itself.

Baby back pork ribs in the oven tonight. Meat Church 3-2-1 method……dayum! Kiddos loved them too! Fall off the goodness soaked in brown sugar, butter and honey and drizzled with Rib Candy Apple Habanero syrup.

Got a new shipment in just now. If you don’t want to use BBQ sauce and just want to sweetness your smoked/baked poultry and ribs up I highly recommend this brand and flavors.
