Got to FINALLY get to work on my bow....reset her up in my pimped out limbdriver with some bling. Redipped the rest fork in plasti-dip and shot for a little while. still need some tweaking but i'm close. got six arrahs wrapped up and ready for fletchings and broadheads...got a bunch of happy customers too so that is some serious icing. its octoberfest time a a short nap till we do it all again tomorrow..

Got my new bow back from Milo and couldn't be happier. Unbelievable. It's the first time Ive ever had a bow/arrows tuned properly to it's max. Unreal man! I couldn't be happier. There is such a difference. Thanks again.

Then met up with the flute man to pick up my wrist sling. I'm really happy with it and him and Kate are some great folks. It was nice to finally meet one of you guys and talk some deer hunting. That conversation could have went on for hours on end!

Now I'm just waiting for my new sight to arrive in the mail and that'll be the finishing touch to the rig. Couldn't be happier with how she's shooting.

Also have the folks coming down this weekend. Haven't seen them in a while so that'll be great.

Could go on forever..... Life is good

I took a long lunch today to check out my closest food plot. With all of the rain we have had around here in the last week it has exploded! Deer tracks everywhere. Only three weeks til bow. It's a good day.

Got some good news yesterday..my boss called me in and said he was going to hire me on full time as of Monday. So thats some good! Then tonight I'll be relaxing and maybe throwing a few back, followed by some tailgating tommorow for the OU game. We get free tickets drinks and food, so I couldnt pass it up..if there are any TOOzers going and would like to meet up just let me know. Sunday is still in the air, but i'd love to finish moving my stand (s) and move some cams around..so all in all a great week and weekend!!

My building doesn't have air. These kids are miserable and smell like ass! Remember, I have 8th graders and most of them don't realize they need to shower and wear deoderant. I freaked on them on Friday about showering and not smelling like rotten butt.

And to top it off, a transformer blew up the street today and we just now got our electric back. We couldn't even use fans from 9:30-1:30.

Ate squirrel, rabbit, duck, turtle, gator, deer, moose, dove, catfish, and all the fixings are my buddies wild game party. My deer loin was pretty damn solid if I do say so myself! LOL! The orange chili shrimp recipe is a keeper! Drank a 6'er of Sam Adams Oktoberfest and 4 of the Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin Ale. Live music from the neighboring farmer topped it all off. Just a great evening in the country!!!

Helping Fluteman hang stands after the rain passes tomorrow, then shooting trap and having a big feed at my uncles farm. TOO fuggin' good!!!

You'll get to know people over time. There are guys here I still haven't met. lol. Just get to know the ones close to you. Come shoot some deer at Strouds Run in Oct, sounds like plenty will be there.

Well, the bow is back from Milo and all sighted in. I am very pleased to say the least. I made a few adjustments on it as recommended by Milo and what a difference!

Milo, I got the right whisker biscuit and my groups are balls on! Thanks buddy!!!

My old one was from my old bow and was for aluminum arrows. Who knew???? Lol
