What's good TOO?

My wife is an accountant for a firm in the Toledo area...One of her clients has offered her a position at their company to do their accounting...she negotiated for about a month with them and basically got whatever benefits and salary she requested...but the biggest benefit was that her husband (me) was told that he could hunt her new boss's property!!! This came up in one of their first conversations about her terms of employment and I couldn't beleive it.

Just talked with the landowner today and I'm going to meet up with him today or tomorrow and go over the property and the ground rules...Since I told him I wanted to take my oldest step son out this weekend to get him his first deer, he is making an exception for us and letting him gun hunt out there...only other things I know is that he is only allowed to shoot a doe and the same goes for me, hopefully we can bring 2 does home this weekend then, if we're allowed!

never thought my wife would be the path to having private ground to hunt on. Life is good.

You know the state is small when you drive 630 odd miles in 2 days and at one point, go "hey! That's a TOOzer parked on the side of the road" - only to find out he's hanging a new tree stand....

Man I do get around...

Signing the final papers for our house today and getting the keys! Whooooo hoooooo.

A trail cam will be going up on 'our' land this afternoon.

Fuggin craziness! :pickle:

Kaboomy!

Going to set a cam up! Will take some pictures.

According to the sellers brother they have seen some whoppers out there. Thats coming from a guy who just harvested a 160+ deer last week!

We are excited to say the least!

It happened so fast due to the sellers carrying the financing!

We'll be celebrating tonight!

Finally got my stand hung last night. Was putting stuff in my truck, and some guy stops and tells me about a monster out in my field out front. So I put on a sneak to see how big, and they were running into the thicket. I swear Im gonna mow that thicket down this summer. Good to hear that the big boy is still hanging around though.
