Made the 2hr trip to Cabela's for the first time yesterday. Took the boy and the wife along TOO. Think everybody had a pretty decent time. Didn't buy anything but looked at a lot of stuff I would have loved to have lmao.

Myself and about 8 other rednecks put this liner in today. When we bought the place last spring we knew the old one was in bad shape. Didn't even open pool last year. It went in pretty easy and used a couple shop vacs for vacuum. We'll see how she looks in the morning. I am toasted.

We had our daughter baptized yesterday. It was not something I was overly concerned with, but the wife and her side of the family are Catholic, so it was something we were asked about almost daily it seems. We had a nice ceremony followed by lunch that I whipped up. Took a nap, then got ice cream and went on a drive. Was a damn good Sunday! I also spent Saturday working outside and finally got a lot accomplished! With baseball it has been tough to get anything done, so it was a relief to make some headway this weekend!

Sometimes life works out great....with a little hard work that is.

Here is the success story of my friend's daughter. I had mentioned the story in one of the other threads but as a teenager Julie ran away from home, quit high school, got pregnant, and was on the pathway to no where. Finally, one day she listened to her parents teachings and turned herself around.

Here is her current success story: http://www.thecorryjournal.com/articles/2013/05/20/hometown/doc519a51501a456033010690.txt

Congratulations to Julie and her family.

The smell of Honeysuckle! This weekend I rode the 4-wheeler to the ballfields and on the way back, right before dark when the air was a little heavier, I got a snoot full of it.
