The smell of Honeysuckle! This weekend I rode the 4-wheeler to the ballfields and on the way back, right before dark when the air was a little heavier, I got a snoot full of it.

Love it Aaron! Funny, Alyssa and I had a wedding in DC last weekend. Rolling down 70 in western MD with the windows down and radio up it was a constant cycle... Honeysuckle...road kill...cow shit....honeysuckle....

I commented on the 1st good whiff of honeysuckle. Not exactly plentiful around this city slicker.

Had a couple extra kids at the house today. (Friends of our kids'.) I hollered at the boys to quit climbing on Hank's kennel. Two climbing over the top and one boy going thru the gate. I head down the highway to a jobsite and get a text from my wife.

"Hank got his workout today. The boys let him get out and caught him again. I think Matt got humped a little. lol"

Apparently they let him loose twice. Just laughing about it. Boys being boys. Didn't hurt anything but brought a smile to my face and I am sure it did Hank good to have some extra attention today. Simple pleasures of life such as imagining three boys trying to wrangle a 70lb GSP.

Tonight was the first night I started work on the dog kennel. Had some good company tonight and bluegrass on the radio. Killed a few beers and enjoyed a beautiful evening outside. Wish every evening was like that!!!

Sweet set up Mike! Is that TV weather proof or do you take it inside when not in use. We've discussed getting a flat screen weather proof one for our patio in the future. It would be installed in a inside corner of our covered back porch. Wouldn't get rained on but condensation would be a prob.

Met up with Milo tonight and swapped draw mods out on the Infinity. Fits much better now. Always great to visit with him when he's in my neck of the woods!

A buddy and I met up with him last night. He had done a tune job and was working with my buddy to try to get him comfortable with his new Spyder30. It really is fun and informative when I get lucky enough to catch him when he's passing through.
Good luck with your Infinity Jesse, sounds like ya got it headed in the right direction.

Waiting on a load of top soil . Doing work at a property I have permission to hunt. Watching a fawn browse from the truck as I scan TOO. On some days my job has some amazing perks!

Correction: I believe it was one of last years fawns. Must have been a late birth. Tiny thing but no spots.

How does it shoot compared to that Mathews.

Very comparable outside of the draw cycle. But in terms of being dead in the hand, it may be moreso than the Mathews. It's a mean machine, but maintains some finesse. I love it already. Just need to build my shoulder back up after tearing it apart throwing batting practice all spring! I have no doubts this thing would kill an elephant!

Quite amazing how hard it slams the arrows into the target.

Just got back from the PO and FINALLY got my Steiner binos in the mail. I've been very disappointed with them because of fogging up issues and the crappy chest sling that came with them. Since we're in the dead part of the year with nothing to hunt I thought I'd better get my ass in gear and make this a priority. Glad to have this behind me....lol

They said it might be 4-6 weeks before I get them back or am sent a new pair. I hope I get a new pair.

Jut got a letter from child support enforcement. My payments are going down by $120 per week. Guess they are finally figuring out they have been friggin killing me.
