Got the pops coming down this weekend. He'll b getting his hands bloody. Doe hunt in the mornings and horn hunting the evenings. Lookin like killing weather.
 
This is my good friend George, he's been a father and a mentor to me through the years. I've learned so much from this man through the years.

At 76, he has a bit more trouble getting out, but he does. Here's George with a doe he took last Thursday.

I can only guess he had a few shots of Kessler to celebrate!

I have been running thru chainsaw bar oil and mix gas in a big time way. Loving this cooler weather. More productive than working in 9 or 90 degree weather. Also had a chance to sling some arrows tonight. Sure felt good to find the time. Felt better since I was stacking them. Some of the best groups all year. Good to keep the confidence levels up.

Just wanna say thanks again. Beentown helped me out last night with a last minute project that simply wouldn't have gotten done without his help. I owe ya one.
 
Today is my 15th wedding anniversary. I am truely fortunate. My wife is a beautiful, intelligent, hardworking woman and fantastic mother. She supports my love of the outdoors and best of all...she make more $$$ than me. I'm a lucky fella.:biggrin:
