J, oh man... you better have another one! J/K
I'm sure you guys will have a rough day when you say goodbye down ther, but it sounds like you have alot to be proud of.
Look on the bright side, now you are free to do whatever you guys want. Travel, walk around in your undies, etc...

Here's how it went down: there's a mowing business around that diablo and i werent really fond of. They always acted arrogent and never seemed TOO friendly like all the other business' around. So we kinda had a little grudge with these guys after a run in or two. So today im driving behind them and they lose a car magnet that was on the side of their truck, but they didnt notice and kept driving. So im like "ehh i'll pick it up for em, maybe mess with it a little." But i ended up getting ahold of diablo and we decide to just return the magnet to them and try and be nice. We ended up talkin to these guys for over an hour about mowing and pricing and mowers. The guys we thought were jackasses were actually some pretty decent dudes and i kinda changed my mind about them a little bit. Lesson learned: dont judge people until you really know them.

That is funny stuff moundhill. I used to be real worried about the other guys and what they thought of me. I used to worry about trying to be like them. Drove me crazy and I never made any money. When I quit worrying about them, and focused on my own business, it seemed like things started to take off. I know where you guys are at and I have been there. Sounds like you learned a valuable lesson today. "Keeps your friends close, and your competition closer":smiley_crocodile:

One suggestion: Never give them any info. If you are doing well, and they are singing the blues, then sing the blues with them. If they are telling you how well they are doing and you are not where you want to be then a simple "We are hanging in there" or "We are getting by" works too. Chances are if you are struggling, then so are your competitors. Never let them see you sweat brotha!

Been getting the house ready for my parents 25th anniversary party this weekend... been a long week!

1. Deck rebuild - done
2. Landscaping - done
3. Wood split and stacked - done
4. Carpets Shampooed - done
5. Pool cleaned and chemicals topped off - done
6. Fire ring shoveled out - done
7. Tent Canopy Setup - done
8. Fresh keg in the fridge - done
9. House and garage power washed - done
10. Grass watered/fertilized/and mowed - done

Now just gotta pick up the meat I'm going to grill Saturday and sit back and relax! I told my wife if we had one of these cookouts every month our house would be immaculate. She didn't find it very humorous!!

Looking forward to celebrating with family and friends this weekend, my parents enjoy it for all the crap my brother and I put them through. Hopefully we get some nice weather!

That is a nice setup Twireman. I wouldn't call it "camping" though. Looks like you hooked onto, and towed your own fancy hotel room behind the truck!lmao

Drake- I am sure your parents will be proud. You have turned out great, and if your brother is similar, then I would say just getting together with you guys on their anniversary will probably make them happy!

At a buddies tonight, and put it on some people playing cornhole. Think this was the fourth time I have played. Finally lost... Was good to get out of the house and do something besides listen to the ex bitch.

Took the wife and went and watched the Kentucky Headhunters do an hour and a half long show. Has been a long time since I have seen them play. They still got it lol.
We had a great time.

Last night we took our youngest daughter out to see the new Harry Potter movie. I must say that it was the only movie I have seen people clap for a scene and clap and cheer at the end of the movie. Was pretty cool lol.

My wife's birthday is on Wednesday.... she's a huge Cleveland Indians fan and we watch ALL of their games on Sports Time Ohio. I left a message on Matt Underwood's facebook wall, asking him to wish her a happy birthday on the air. He said they aren't televising Wednesday's game but that he could do it tomorrow night instead. She's going to really get a kick out of it I think! What a nice guy!

They wished my wife a happy birthday tonight on STO and she was shocked! It was really cool and it definitely made her night. She thinks she's famous now lol.

Quick funny from last night...

The kids & I went up to the archery range to fling some arrows, and then pick some black berries when we were done. Accomplished both tasks before the heat tried to cook us, and the mosquitos were no longer bothered by the bug spray. On the way home we took the scenic route to scout for deer. So, we came to a road with some little hills & dips on it. The kind where if you hit 'em just right you get that little roller coaster effect of your stomach dropping out on ya.

We hit the first one and the kids aren't ready at all, so this blast of laughter comes flying from the back seat as we crest the hill and drop down the other side. They're just rolling and I am too.... so here come another hill, and I let 'em know. We hit it just right again, drop off to the other side, and they're cracking up so hard that they're at the point they can't stop laughing....

I look back at my son and ask him, "What's so funny about those little hills?"

He responds, in between breaths and laughter, "I don't know Dad.... but it kinda tickles my belly & wiener"
