A home project finally went off without a hitch! Last H2O heater lasted 11yrs, and was time to upgrade for a few more gallons. So far no leaks and shes warming up nicely. Beer time!

Did you put in the drip pan? The $30 pan that holds about a cup of water and is regulated by the Ohio Revised Code? LOL!

No drip pan since day the house was built b/c the floor door to the crawl space is 1/8" away on LH side. Took me just over 2.5hrs start to finish. Worst part was trying to get the old, full tank out of the house lol! 11yrs of sediment and 30+ gals of water was fun to wrestle with just myself and the wife. Couldn't have done it without her. The sediment had the drain plugged up. Still need to put in the T&P down tube and figure out where to put the expansion tank.

We had my folks down again this weekend. Always great to see family. My dads ready to put alot more time in on stand this upcoming season! Im pumped that he'a pumped!

Andrew passed his hunters safety yesterday with a score of 98. I took it too just for the heck of it and I somehow missed missed one and got a 99, lol. He has used the apprentice license the last 3 yrs and he had to get it done before turk time. We stopped and bought his license and turk tag on the way home. Bring on the turks!!

Wow. I just stopped in my road to allow a big 8 point cross the road. He was huge with lots of mass and was still carrying both sides. I'm still in shock! Pretty cool.

I actually saw 2 bucks dead along side the road today. One was only holding both sides and one was only half rack. The one holding both sides looked to be a decent 8.
