Barn needs a new roof. I just dropped them on the barn. Tried to hinge and let them swing to drop straight down wherever possible. A handful hit the roof though. It was a bit unnerving up that high cutting trees. Trees can do some funny things. Of all the ones which hit the roof, it was one of the last ones which is going to cost me some money. Enough money I could have paid a tree service to do the trees.

Wouldn't bet on it unless you seriously jacked the barn. For a bunch of ex felons with chainsaws they sure want a lot to drop a tree. I got a quote from a few guys to drop two maples in my back yard and it was damn near a grand per tree. I sacked up and did it myself

There aren't too many "average" people out there with the equipment or the know-how to drop their own trees, and the tree service companies know it. It's dangerous work for anyone inexperienced, so I can see why they charge what they do.

Jon, had you not posted a picture, I wouldn't of believed that. I didn't think that dog ever rested! Lol

He just turned 5 and still has the energy of a puppy. He has slowed down a touch over the last couple months but not much.
When its time to settle down right before bed though he seems to find a way to relax.

I hate going to the doctor and have had a solid dislike for "my" doctor for a while now. I'm having some trouble with my shoulder right now, enough that I need to see a specialist. Because I need a referral to get in to an orthopedist, I went to the doctor today. My wife suggested a practice where the doctor is a younger guy who is taking over for his dad. His nurse practitioner is also younger and well respected. I was pretty impressed today. My wait was only 10 minutes and the NP was more my kind of medical professional, plus the nurse who took my vitals was hot! They took blood (at my request) and x-ray'd my shoulder right in their office, and just called with my blood results. All the nutritional markers I asked for are spot on with the exception of my triglycerides. Given the weekend I just had, which I capped with a dessert at Outback last night, that doesn't concern me. They were 172, so I should have no issue getting those back under 150. My BP was 110/70 with a resting heart rate of 58. Kidney and liver functions were great as well. So overall, I have a clean bill of health. No on to the shoulder issue...

Feels good to have body back in better condition than it was a few years ago. That's what is TOO good today!

I never went to a doctor unless I broke something until I was 43. I couldn't take the shoulder pain I was having so I had it fixed. I wish I would've had it done when I was 30 LOL
