New neighbor is a cool dude. He's 62 years old, wife died 6 months ago and he said there was too many memories in his house so he had to move. He was telling me about the camaro SS that he ordered, well he just got it yesterday. He took me for a ride a little bit ago, that fucker scoots! 455hp
So I am sitting at the desk in our shop this morning tallying time cards. I hear the first truck backing up. My two main guys were on the first crew out and backed the truck to where I could see them from the desk. They motioned me to the truck. I walk over. They sheepishly hand me a card. I was shocked. My guys had gotten me a birthday card with a Cabelas gift card inside it. The bag was rough looking and they chuckled and explained how it fell between the seats of the work truck. I didn't care. It was real nice of them to remember my birthday. That was the impressive part to me. Feels good to have some good guys you work with.
That is too good Phil. It is very hard to find good hard workers these days.
As for me, got to watch the sun rise up from the ocean this morning. Daughter and I went to the beach and took some pictures for her senior pictures.

Twenty four years ago today I said I do to my lovely wife & we're still going strong. We have a lot to be grateful for. Ah yes, in almost another week, we too will be watching the sun rise from the ocean's horizon. Well, I will ... I'll be amazed to see her actually outside at that hour...
