What's good TOO?

We finished the course today. I was standing outside waiting. Garrett comes out looking down and said "I got a 79." You need an 80% to pass. He knew the material but doesn't test well. That was a worry for me. My look of shock was evident. Then he looks at me and said "just messin' with you Dad. I got a 92." Lmao

Lil man got me good.
That's funny chit!

3 batches of Peach Jam last night.

Looking good Rick!

I'm going to chalk this up to nesting as we prepare for Baby #2. Or, my wife riding my ass for the last year to buy one! LOL. I've been eye-balling the Cannon 72-gun safe they have on sale at Rural King right now. We went to get some measurements and look it over on Friday and the wife said: "I don't care what you get, just get something..." Alrighty then!

Big thanks to Full Snore for helping move this bad boy in yesterday! It's more storage than I need, but we will grow in to it. It'll provide a great place to store guns, ammo, important docs, etc. For the money and the size, it was a good deal for me even though this isn't the most substantial safe on the market in terms of build quality. It required a complete rearranging of my office to get it in, so here is the man room turned office now...

The best part about the rearranging revealed itself this morning while I was on the phone for nearly 3 hours straight. Since I work from home when I'm not on the road, it's nice to have some flexibility with how I go through my day. I sat in the chair, used my wife's lap desk to hold my notes, and watched my chickens scratch around while I made calls. Not a bad way to do some dirty work!

One step closer in the cabin in Tennessee. Got the shower base and walls in. Got drywall hung and bedcoat in. Also got kitchen drywall finished and painted. Little at a time.

Big plus to have a comfortable place to work from in the house. For many, being able to work from home is comforting. Looks nice Jesse!

Good to hear on the cabin Jon! Keep pluggin' buddy.

Rick- My wife made a nice peach cobbler over the weekend. Thought of you and Joy as I ate it. Then I thought about Chad and chuckled as I ate the last piece. He would have been panicking as it disappeared unless he had another on the way. lmao

Chad already talked to me about Joys ability to make a Peach Cobbler.... rotflmao It was pretty reasonable. Got a bushel of second grade peaches for 25.00. Normally 48. I believe. They don't need to be pretty for jelly or the freezer.
