Day 5 of a 5 day lumber grading course is underway. Been a long week. Passed my test yesterday and today is just an FYI session about walnut. Feels good to have a new skill set and to be wrapping up a long week.
Sitting against a barn awaiting the sunrise. Binoculars and camera on tripod at the ready. I'm listening to antlers clang together in a bean field. TOO good!

Watched to good bucks sparring out in a field last night at my buddies hunting spot... Both mid 130's to low 140's 8 points... they were pushing each other around while a scrub 6 point watched on....
Cool too witness and we developed a plan for him this weekend based on this so hopefully he'll have some action....

I figured it was the juvenile bucks I watched last night. As sun Slowly came up I saw outlines of decent racks. Couldn't tell much but at that distance they weren't 2yr old bucks if I could see their racks.

So my trusty 1997 isuzu rodeo finally crapped out on me. I had to break down and buy a new daily driver. My new job requires alittle longer commute so I got a gas saver. Don't bust my balls dudes I did my best to mix sport, fuel economy, and family efficiency with a low budget. Getting 35mpg right now with it. I demanded a 6 speed stick as well......that was the only way I was getting in a car.

Thanks had it since 2006. I knew someone would say the car is cute. Surprisingly I'm 6'2 and I have plenty of room in it.
