Good luck man! I've relocated multiple times as a family. It isn't easy, but is worth it IMO. Now that my kids are older, we are done moving around though. It would just be really hard on them at this point and not worth it. Chase your dreams man! Go be someone!!!
Thanks Giles. I definitely want to do this before my kids get too much older. My wife's just a little unsure about leaving her family. But like I told her it's only 2.5 hours away so we would still see them
Cousin had multiple offers for a full ride in football. He signed his commitment letter to Harvard today. Pretty excited for him.

He is a scholar, for sure. Athletics is secondary, but he is good. Haven't seen him play but on video. They live in GA.

Plans fell through for the weekend at the last minute. So we packed the kids up and headed towards Lake Erie for their last weekend before school starts. No plans, just grab and go, with only having fun in mind. We are all whipped! Been a fun couple of days. Tomorrow we will pack the truck and head back home.

When I worked for the Finance Company I transferred every 2 years. For a total of 6 times. We never let the leaving family idea enter our minds. That's what roads are for to go visit them.
As far as the kids it was no bother at all. Kids make new friend real quick. Think about it how many of your school friends are still friends today after you moved away. Not many I'm sure.
The biggest problem of moving kids are is a parent problem of thinking they don't want to relocate the kids away from their so call close friends.
