Bought a ticket voucher at our county 4-H Endowment Dinner back in April and decided the Ohio Cup was the best weekend to cash in our pick of tickets. This is our girls' first trip to a MLB game and Kenna's first trip to a major sporting event. Got a sweet Air B&B right across the street from the ballpark so we can enjoy the evening and part of tomorrow playing in the water parks. Nice little 36-hour getaway for us. Making memories with our girls is TOO good!

I had recently mentioned that I joined a nearby conservation club. I really feel good about it , that one can take ownership of pretty much any project they may wish to do because it's all joint ownership of the land. There's rules & bylaws just the same. For the few times I went out to the property, I kept my eyes opened for something that I could leave my " mark " so to speak. It later dawned on me that I didn't see a single bird house. So, I decided then that an easy ass & satisfying project is at hand. I kinda seriously doubt anybody else is doing anything of this nature ( pun intended ) so I whipped out a prototype for my own yard to begin with. In due time I'll come up with some other designs.

Trying to get the perimeters of the CRP fields mowed in between the rains.
Always cool to see that the pheasants are hatching and have lots of young ones running around.
Ended up seeing 26 birds on one field, several Roosters and lots of hens with young ones.
