Bought the girls tickets to see Lainey Wilson for Christmas last year before I was hip to Zach Top. Since then, he's become one of my favorite country music artists. If George Straight and Joe Diffe had a kid, it would be name Zach Top. He closed with "Cold Beer & Country Music" which is the theme for the day!

Oh, and Pittsburgh is a shithole town 😂

I’ve got years and years of photography just sitting on computes, sd cards, and external storage. Figured it’s time to get some prints and update the home office a little.

I like the way these turned out so I think I’ll order another group of these frames and get some more prints to add to it. Since it’s on the first floor of the house I’m trying to appease my bride with photography that’s hunting-related but not grip and grins. Those are downstairs in the man cave. 😉

I'm currently in that season of life that makes it hard to keep up on everything I care about and enjoy, which includes this place. My work is crazy. I'm on multiple boards, two of which demand a lot of time and attention. And I'm coaching two different basketball teams. Our traveling tournament team has been to Canton, Logan, Wheeling, and Zanesville, with trips to Gallia, Cambridge, and our own tournament still ahead. Plus, I have our rec league team every Wednesday, so I'm eating, sleeping, and breathing basketball right now!

We have a special group of 6th grade girls on our tournament team, but we've been playing some major competition and it's made for a rough winter. As a smaller D3 school, we got our asses handed to us in Wheeling last week by 3 different D1 programs. Our girls needed a confidence boost and we got it this weekend. We played Philo in the opening game yesterday and played like absolute dog shit. After a solid ass chewing from the other coach and I, they rebounded with a convincing win over the host school, West Muskingum. Bracket play for the championship had us facing off against WM again this morning, so we knew they'd be out for blood. The girls played their best game of the season, delivering a 20+ point beat down of WM this morning. That set us up for our own revenge game, which was a nail bitter from tip to buzzer, but we pulled off a 1 win to bring home the gold.

This is likely to be my last coaching endeavor, so it was nice to make this kind of memory. I'd like to just be a dad if the other 2 girls play sports and since I don't have a son, I don't see me getting a chance to purse my true love of baseball. If this is if, I'll remember this one until they lower me in the ground!

That's Kaydence riding piggy back 😂

Those days go by very quickly. Enjoy! Mine is a Junior in college now.
They sure do!! It might not seem like it in the moment but, man do they go fast.

@bowhunter1023 if at all possible, keep coaching while they’re young. It’s well worth the time invested. I coached each of our kids for several seasons, and even once they started travel sports. I “retired” once they were almost to high school then became the “personal consultant.” I loved both roles and am thankful my kids and wife talked me into coaching all those years.
