Kaydence's first ever XC season game to end today in a wet, cold race for the 7th and 8th grade OSHAA State Invitational. She finish 130 out of 292 runners with a 14:48 in the 2-mile, which was 7 seconds off her PR. Not bad for crappy running conditions. Their team finished 8th out of 36 teams, also not bad for a bunch of hillbillies from BFE SE Ohio. She's grown a lot physically and mentally in the last year and she's ready to transition into basketball. The strength and conditioning she gained after running 2 miles a day, 5 days a week for 2.5 months is about to pay off where she loves to be the most, on the court balling it up!
