What's good TOO?

It was great to finally shake your hand and meet your Puerto Rican lover/engine builder/lady magnet/onboard comedian today. :smiley_crocodile:

Thoroughly enjoyable even if it was brief. And yes, Al made me look shy. Quite an accomplishment on his part. Hope you guys had a safe voyage home.

Picture is worth a thousand words...I'll take this in my wallet over $$$ ever day of the week! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1433887460.781743.jpg

Long day. Well worth it. We planned and pulled off a successful "Surprise 45th Anniversary" party for my parents today. Completely caught them off guard. To pull off this feat was an accomplishment. Ladies from the church and family members pitched in. We were all certain they would find out. The ladies from the church joked about what a relief it was to NOT have to keep the secret anymore. They were cute and very helpful. My wife was very instrumental in the undertaking. She did all the food planning and the majority of food prep. To have a wife so willing to help to the extent she did is a true blessing. The smiles and looks of shock on my parents' faces was all the reward we needed. Heck, I even got along with my sister during the planning and during the party. That is a monumental feat as well. Life is grand.

What's good?... a day off, (not going to have another one for a while). It's actually been a good couple of days. Got the notification in the mail Thursday that my child support is done. Thats $165 a week that I can certainly use, Friday was our 5th anniversary, and because of that we are having a little get together today. Today will be the first time in 5 years we have had all 5 of our kids and all our grandkids together at the same time since our wedding. The weather isn't going to cooperate, but it should be a good day anyway.

Congrats Dave!

I don't know what I'd do if I didn't get any days off for a stint! The work around the house would just have to pile up I guess!
