I haven't had to deal with the whole extended/multiple parent situation so I'm always neutral on this subject as like anything cookie cutter methods don't always work....
But how you handled it is probably exactly what I'd of done as well...
We had issues with one and not the other so we're at 50% lol
But as they've gotten older the both of them look back and say we did the right things although at the time we doubted our sanity at that moment....
