Meant to throw this up here last night.

Finally… the smoothest of the smooth. My unicorn. Big thanks to @Sgt Fury and @Jesse and anyone else involved in what was likely one of the longest-traveled and longest duration Hillbilly Express to-date. It was worth the wait!

I see that the letter on the horses rear foot is a “N”. Now all you have to do is collect all of the other letters that spell out Blantons…then you put them on a half whiskey barrel display. GOALS! 😂 Hope you enjoy it!👍😊

I do.... I also have a bottle of Blantons .....
Small world….I picked up a bottle of Makers a couple weeks ago along with another bottle of Blantons. Blantons is hard to find around here but if you call several liquor stores every day for 2-3 weeks, you’ll eventually get one who has it in stock. Then you’ve got to drop what you’re doing and get there as quickly as you can or it’ll be gone in a couple hours and won’t be in stock again for about a month.

Honestly for the money, I would rather have Buffalo Trace... I also have some Pure Kentucky which is a pretty decent bourbon, the guy in Kentucky recommended it when I asked for something I wouldn't be able to get in Ohio.

Any of yall done any research on the missing bottles? Not blantons, but same company. Interesting story about the biggest whiskey heist. Seent it on Netflix while recovering Sunday. Lol

Found the story, or a version of it anyways. Didn't read it. Just recognized the name.

I agree about BT. Half the price and twice as easy to find. Not that Blantons isn’t great, just not “twice the price” great. I’ll always pick up a bottle if I see it but don’t go out of my way to find it.
These are the only 2 versions of Van Winkle I’ve laid my eyes on. Zoom and check out the prices…

So, to all you brew drinkers that make it down in my neck of the woods, stop by and check it out. If you let me know you're in town ahead of time, we'll drink a few together. Cheers!

Perfect evening for it!
