Just tried this after having the Buffalo Trace…not bad but wouldn’t be my first choice.
Talked to a big bourbon drinker standing in line for some Weller Antique and he said this was one of his new favorites. What’s it cost ya?
BIL, stopped in Frankfort Ky on way to Nashville for a few days and hit BT in perfect timing. His wife had to stand in line too, lol

Was on the shelf for $45 but I was bullshitting with the owner for a while and he told the cashier to put me in the bourbon club so it only coast me $35. My wife was in a different store that he owns looking for the same bourbon I was looking for today. He asked if my wife was in the other store yesterday looking for that bourbon and I said yes. He told me the distributor won’t have it available again until summer, and suggested I try the Buffalo Trace. Here is the stuff I was looking for….

You can thank me now or later, BUT...If any of you ever see Elijah Craig Toasted, buy it! I have been looking for it for quite awhile now. It is VERY good, One of the best I have ever tried.
With momma still off on maternity leave, I've been making hay while the sunshines at work. Once she goes back, I'll have to throttle back a bit. Until then, I'm earning my brown water! Was up at 4AM today, drove 90 minutes to Salt Fork Lodge for an all day planning session, back home for a night cap. Kept it simple with caffeine so I can stay up until dark
