My BIL just picked me up a bottle of EC barrel proof for $85.
Pretty solid pour. Nothing paradigm shifting, but tasty nonetheless.
I thought a 12 pack would be enough...I was wrong and finished with these. Not bad

Ancient Ancient age 10 star for me tonight. Same mash bill, same rickhouse but not quite Blantons. BUT if you can find it, darn cheap and a great pour

I enjoy both the green SR and the antique 107 but feel they are overhyped and nothing special to my palate. I keep buying the bottles for friends because i thank them with those bottles (or one of a few others) and to them it's worth more than it is to me.
I like them both very much. Guys down here won’t pass either of them on days they drop as they use them for trading. The red holds more weight in trade value than the green but I really like the taste of both. I like the Buffalo Trace original just as well as these two. I’ve haven’t tasted the Blanton’s yet but surprisingly several old timers in the game say it’s good but enjoy a half a dozen other pours over it. It’s funny though that they’ll stand in line for hours for it though to collect the set and for trading up for lottery bottles. I’m hoping to get a bottle of Blanton’s, E.H Taylor and Eagle Rare just to have in my stock and share on special occasions.
Again, if you ever see a bottle of either Rare Breed flavors or Michters small batch I highly recommend them.
