I’ve been holding back on buying a bottle of HH GTG hoping to hear how good it is before dropping a C note for it. It sits on shelves here figuring it’s the price point holding other folks back as well.

All joking aside, I am a recent Heaven Hill convert. Bought a couple of their bottled in bond offerings and loved them. The grain to glass series is a more intense and smoother version of the BiB. I haven't had a bad bottle yet of either series.

If you like the sweet wheated pours, the chinquapin GtG has all of those qualities in spades.

Not a bad beer, I wish it wasnt so expensive.

I wholeheartedly agree. The beer overall was fine, not great, not terrible. But honestly, I feel slightly violated by the price plus the bait did not work at all.
