Hard to beat one of the green Stanley thermoses. My dad took one to work for 20+ years and it’s still around somewhere. I’ll probably pick one up for coffee now that it’s getting cold and I’m still hunting like it’s my full time job lol.

Believe it or not, I've had several Stanley thermoses over the years.

I've been real hard on'em apparently cause I broke every one of them.

Funny cause my grandfather used a Stanley for years and years to take to work.

I never heard him complain about'em.

I just don't think they make'em like they used to.

Who knows, I just might get me another one if I can't find anything better.

Thanks for your suggestion though!

If I'm hunting longer than a few hours I pack PB&J. Preferably 2. Maybe a banana. Protein bars. Couple bottles of water. Other stuff is generally in cargo pockets. Typical stuff like an extra layer. If my range finder battery dies, it dies. Same for everything else needing batteries. I usually don't even carry my knives other than the usual pocket knife. If I shoot one I am going home to change and give it time. I'm coming back with a quad or something.

Thermos: Quit wasting your money. Buy a RTIC water bottle and be done!

Its getting faded from every day use but this thing ROCKS! These are discontinued but they came out with a better style. (One I have will leak a little with carbonated water or hot coffee if layed down). The new ones are more straigh-sided.

Guaranteed liquids will be cold 24 hrs later. (Ice barely melts!) I pre-heated the inside with hot water...but 5 hrs later, my coffee was almost to hot to drink.
There is a sale right now... spend 35.00 and free shipping.
The 16 oz just didn't seem big enough for long ventures.
