I'm just not sure...
Perfect weather- 38-55 Marlin

Nostalgia- 50 cal flintlock

Just want to go sit in a tree an be left alone for meat- Marlin trapper carbine in 44Rem

Go sit somewhere tight- 44 Ruger Redhawk

Field edge- Thompson Omega in-line 50

I’ll deside the night before based on my mood and weather. I’ve owned em all for years and know how each shoot.

Maybe I need a new gun for next season..

Remington 783 in .450 Bushmaster. Topped with a Vortex Scope. Seems to shoot a decent group at 100 yards. Thinkin' about reloads for it, since Hornadyy seems to charge a lot for box of rounds.

Man I have a thing for Camo long guns.. very nice 11-87

Thanks man. I got a great deal on the gun with a 26" vent rib camo barrel. I bought the slug barrel off eBay. Gun with both barrels and the Vortex scope for right around $900. It's a lifetime investment I made for my wife and kids, but it's become one of my guns to hunt with.

Ruger American 450 or a Marlin 45/70. I like both but probably like the Ruger the most. It’s light and easy handling and will drive nails. It has a Leuopold on top.

I would take a old used gun from a old family member or friend over ANY “new in the box gun” because of the history. Its like taking em with you in the woods.

Use the shit out of that gun Jess. Some day the daughter or grandchild you give it to will treasure it and your memory.

Awesome deal! A Camo 11-87 is definitely on my list for my next shotgun!

I been tossing around the idea of getting a rifled barrel for my 20 gauge Wingmaster and putting a nice scope on it for sitting.

That gun shoots a better 100 yard pattern than any 12 gauge I've ever shot. It's a tack driver and it doesn't take much to carry it around.
